Our Team.
Welcome to SCAN LA! This organization is our way to address the inaccessibility of needed health services amongst marginalized communities in Los Angeles. There are many low-cost, and even free, resources provided by other non-profit organizations. So, we want to bring them together at community centers, making access to multiple health services in one visit possible.
Natalie Tanios
Founder & CEO
A Los Angeles native, Natalie will graduate from the University of Southern California with a Masters in Public Health in the Spring of 2025. Natalie loves people watching and has perfected the art of sitting at a bench with a guava juice in hand.
Fabi Sosa
Director of Site Management
Although from Utah, Fabi found a home in the City of Angels. She will graduate from the University of Southern California in the Spring of 2025 with a Masters in Public Health. Fabi loves watching reality TV shows and sweet treats; she’s a simple gal.
Madhavan Anbuchelvan
Director of Community Outreach
A California native, Madhavan will graduate in Spring of 2024 with a B.S. in Health Promotion from the University of Southern California. Madhavan loves talking about his favorite sport teams and has been to every USC football game for 3 years!
Leslie Marcia
Director of Case Management
A Los Angeles native, Leslie will graduate in Spring of 2027 with a B.S. in Human Biology from the University of Southern California. Leslie loves visiting Malibu beaches, reading books, baking sweet treats, and playing with her dog Steph!
Sofia Ufret-Rivera
Director of Case Management
From Dallas, Texas, Sofia fell in love with LA Communities. She will graduate in the Fall of 2025 with a B.S. in Global Health from the University of Southern California. In her free time, Sofia loves reading and exploring as many beaches as she can.
